The dinner has been rescheduled until June 25th due to circumstances beyond our control. Tickets are $65 from the Blanco Chamber of Commerce.
Last year the Blanco Lavender Growers Association and the Blanco Chamber of Commerce started the Blanco Lavender Festival with a kick-off dinner to thank our generous supporters. All of the lavender farm owners, with their family and friends, gathered to enjoy a night of meeting these sponsors face to face and share in the excitement of this budding industry. The food and drink were great, the dancing was lively and it helped to launch the feeling of goodwill and community that go with us into this second year.
This year the Blanco Lavender Growers Association and the Blanco Chamber of Commerce are celebrating the Second Annual Lavender Festival with a night of dinner and dancing on Saturday, June 3rd at the Historic Blanco Courthouse.
We will begin with music and drinks on the lawn at 6:30pm. Local beer and wine with appetizers will be served. The dinner will be catered by Temptations, of Johnson City and features a beef or salmon selection with an assortment of savory side dishes and Roger's famous deserts. Patsy Thompson and her band will be with us again for after dinner dancing.
The growers and the Chamber are really excited to welcome the community and our sponsors and supporters. A limited number of tickets to the dinner will be available. For further information or to purchase tickets contact the Blanco County Chamber of Commerce at 833-5101.
